Eric Wright, age 52, of Hammond, passed away at his home on Monday, May 2, 2016.

Survived by his parents; father, Donald (Cheryl) Wright and mother, Marcia Wright;

six siblings: Kenneth Wright, Sheri Wright, Chris (Roxanne) Wright, James Wright, Richard Wright, Rebecca Wright; many nieces, nephews and good friends; along with his buddy, his dog "Gunner".

Preceded in death by his grandparents: Donald, Sr. and Fleda Wright and John and Lottie Gajda.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday, May 7, 2016 for a Memorial Visitation to celebrate the life of Eric Wright at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Rick was a lifetime resident of Hammond and a 1981 graduate of Morton High School. He was employed as a truck driver for Dawn Foods. Rick loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
