Esteban Espinoza, age 82, of Gary, entered into the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Josephine Nee Morin;

Ten children: Estevan (Charlene) Espinoza, Jose Arturo Espinoza, Diana (Michael) Newell, Edward (Juanita) Espinoza, Donna Sanchez, Richard Espinoza, Reuben  Espinoza,

Dora Bush, Denise (Manuel) Maldonado and John Espinoza;

36 Grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews a host of dear friends.

Preceded in death by his parents: Lorenzo and Sotera Espinoza; son in-law: Genaro Sanchez; one grandson, Aaron Espinoza; two granddaughter's, Alicia Rodriguez and Alexis Stathakis; one brother, Jose Espinoza and two sisters: Maria Espinosa and Leonor Martinez.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., with viewing prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. directly at First Baptist Church, Jack Hyles Auditorium, 523 Sibley, Hammond with Dr. Roy Moffitt officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Crown Point. Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Thursday, September 7th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).
