Etta Kate Sutton, age 68, of Hammond passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Curtis;

6 children: Dwight (Wanda) Tomlinson, Sherry (Randy) Tomlinson, Rickie (Sandra) Sutton, Linda, Anthony and Gregory Sutton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Sybil (David ) Romeo and 2 brothers, Gary and PeeWee Marcum; lifetime friend, Jerry "Bear" and Renee Hall.

Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Rita Seymore; 4 children, Steve (Conny) Tomilson, Denise Fern Williams, Jefferey and Chrissy Tomlinson and one brother, Billy Joe Marcum.

A funeral service for Etta Kate Sutton will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421.

Etta has been a longtime resident of the Calumet Area. She enjoyed doing many different craft projects, working crossword puzzles and singing.
