Eva Bewley, age 90, of Hammond passed away peacefully on July 24, 2013.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Bewley) Ross;
2 granddaughters, Heather and Jennifer Ross;
3 great grandchildren: Marissa, Max and Natalie; many brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert M. Bewley; parents, John and Mary Dembowski and several brothers and sisters.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Cremation will preceded the service.
Evelyn was a longtime resident of the Hessville section of Hammond. She formerly attended the First Christian Church of Hessville for many years. Evelyn enjoyed bowling, reading and crocheting. Her greatest love was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be dearly missed.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to your favorite charity.
