Evelyn L. Howell

August 14, 1927-January 10, 2024

Evelyn L. Howell, age 96, passed away peacefully on Wed. January 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Ross H. Howell, and infant Melanie Rose Howell.  Evelyn was born in 1927 in LaPorte, Ind., and lived most of her life in the Calumet Region. She is survived by daughter Christine (Fred Bruckman), and daughter Pam Thomas (and family).  Her brother, Don Jonas, also survives her—private burial at West Creek Township Cemetery in Lowell, Ind.
