Evelyn Marie Good, age 87, of Hammond, entered into the gates of heaven on Tuesday, May 27, 2014.

Survived by 2 daughters: Pamela (Kent) Karnes and

Cynthia (Steven) Witt:

4 grandchildren: Jennifer (Jason) Cornell, Christine Witt, Grace Witt and Jonathan Witt;

4 great grandchildren: Madison, Mackenzie, Mason and Trevor;

sister-in-law, Gloria Krejci;

several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Myron Good; parents, Rudolph and Wilhelmina Krejci and seven brothers and one sister.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. directly at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville with immediate burial to follow.

Evelyn was born and raised in Hammond and made her home in the Hessville section. For over 30 years Evelyn worked as a cashier at Strack & VanTil's in Highland.

Evelyn dearly loved her family; she was a sweet and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her
