Florene Robertson, age 87, of Hammond , passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2011.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Mildred Newsome; Nancy Gratt and Theresa (Jim) Walker.
step-daughters, Phyllis Carter; Connie (Larry) Sims; Sandra Romine; Mary Boyd and Patsy McIntear
stepsons, Derril (Angie);Johnny; and Eric(Jeanie) Robertson
Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Taylor and Harvey Robertson, Daughter Juanita DeVries,Step sons Ralph and Marty Robertson.

Funeral Services and interment at Higgins Cemetery on Tuesday February 8,2011 in Athens , AL . Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday February 6,2011
from 4-6pm at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue , Hammond (Hessville).
Florene was born and raised in Athens , AL and moved to the Hammond area in 1964. She enjoyed quilting and growing flower; she will be remembered for her Green Thumb. Florene was a wonderful cook and made the best Christmas Candy. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother who will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
