Francisco Concepcion, age 67, of Hammond,  passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Margarita Concepcion; three sons: Frank, Samuel and David Concepcion; four siblings: Carlos, Esparanza, Maria, and Ruben; ss well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded by his parents Concepcion and Petrona Montanez; one sister: Carmen

A funeral celebration service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond IN 46323 with Pastor Lupe Delgado officiating. This service will be available on our website for viewing at 5:00 p.m. central time. Burial service will take place Tuesday October 13 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Friends and family are invited for a time a visitation on Monday, October 12, 2020  from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  and 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bocken. Face mask and social distancing measure are required.

Francisco was born and raised in Puerto Rico, he moved to the U.S. at the age if 18. He has lived in Hammond for over 25 years. Francisco is retired from S B Recyclers in Calumet City, IL. He was a member of Iglesia De Dios in South Chicago. Francisco  enjoyed gardening and listening to Puerto Rican Jibaro's music.
