Fred W. Sessa, age 80, of Hammond, formerly of Worth, IL and Lake Wales, FL passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lucille A. Sessa (nee Kaslewicz); one son,  Raymond (Sharon) Sessa; one brother, Charlie Sessa; two sisters: Sarah Johnson and Christine Sessa; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Frederico and Mary Sessa and one brother, Frank Sessa.

Fred was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He made his home in Worth, IL where he owned and operated Worth Shoe Repair for some 30 years. Fred moved his family to Hammond and after retirement they moved to Wales Florida where Fred and Lucille lived for 14 years before moving back to Hammond to be near their son. Fred enjoyed playing poker, pinochle and betting on the ponies. Fred was great at bowling and loved bowling in the men's leagues.

Cremation services were private in respect to his wishes.
