Freida J. Hotaling, age 94 of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Friday August 3, 2012.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Arlene (Richard) Roth and Margaret (Douglas) Bergs;
2 grandchildren, Michelle  Bergs and Patrick (Patti)Bergs;
3 great grandchildren, Kiana Klein, Cameron and Cheyenne Foor.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband's Gaza Astolaz and  Paul Hotaling;
Parents, Andrew and Elizabeth Zsiga, one sister and one brother.
Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday August 7, 2012 from 9-10am  followed by the funeral service at  10am with Rev. James A. Thomson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Hammond.
Freida was a native of Chicago and a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area. She was a longtime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Freida had worked as a clerk for Goldblatt Bros. for several years. Memorials may be made in favor of Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6709 Arizona Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323.
