Gaye L. Gruhler,  age 63 of Hammond passed away on Saturday July 31, 2010 at St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond .

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jorg M. Gruhler

2 Daughters: Lisa (Brian) OBrien of Griffith and

Sheryl (Mark) Kozy of Munster

4 Grandchildren: Natalie, Nina, Lauren and Denham

Mother: Betty Jean Clark of Cincinnati , OH

Brother: John (Janet) Clark of Milford , OH

Niece, Staci Myer and Nephew, Brent Clark

Preceded in death by her father; Orville Denham Clark.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Gaye Gruhler will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue , Hammond (Hessville) with Rev. Eric Kleinschmidt officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, August 4 ^th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00p.m., Noon.

Gaye was born in East Chicago on August 11, 1946 and has been a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area, and attended the "old" Morton High School . Gaye and her husband spent 2 years living in Germany before moving to the Hessville section of Hammond . She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and loyal friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her.
