Gayle Dorothy Vargo, age 59 entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, October 20, 2012.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Jerry;
5 Children: Dwight (Roma) Vargo,
Dawn Vargo and
Dana (William) Shirley,
Dwayne (Crystal) Vargo and  Douglas (Ele) Vargo;
3 grandchildren: Jadon, Carson and Abby
Mother, Beverly J. Graves
3 brothers: Jeffrey Graves, Dexter Graves,
Mark (Sue) Graves
3 sisters: Pamela (Wayne) Paradise,
Peggy (Larry) Myers
Joyce (Jim) Lambert
Numerous nieces,  nephews; and a host of dear friends.
Preceded in death by her father, Melvin Graves.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. directly at Memory Lane Mausoleum Chapel in Schererville with Pastor Charles Hand officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday, morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
Gayle was born and raised in the Calumet Area. She had been a longtime faithful member of First Baptist Church of Hammond. Gayle was a tireless worker for the church and her Lord. She was currently a member of First Baptist Church of Long Beach, CA.  She had a love of singing and was involved in church, choir and special music. After raising her children Gayle went back to college to earn a degree in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for Downey Regional Hospital in CA.
Gayle always put her family first, she was a thoughtful, loving  wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and a dear friend to many, Gayle will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
