Glenn E. Houchin

October 5, 1948 — March 3, 2023

Glenn E. Houchin, age 74, of Hammond passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 3, 2023 in his home. He is survived by his siblings, Jenny (late Larry) Nicpon, James Houchin, Linda (Tom) Eaton, Maggie Houchin, Kerry (late Jimbo) Pettit and Cindy Gordon, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Hester Houchin.

A celebration of the life of Glenn Houchin will be planned at a later date.

Glenn was born and raised in Hammond, IN. He was a 1966 graduate of Morton High School and then went on to serve in the United States Navy. He worked in the maintenance department at Purdue University for years before retirement. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching NASCAR races. He was a loving brother and uncle and loved the time spent with his nieces and nephews.
