Gloria A. Mills, age 77, of Hammond, passed away suddenly on Friday morning February 10, 2017. She is survived by four children: Scott L. (Michele) Mills, Ruth A. (Steve) Mares, Anthony A. (Belinda) Mills and Robert D. Mills; twelve grandchildren, many, many great-grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; sister: Patricia Petrezzio; brother: Wayne Snider; numerous nieces, nephews, friends including her best friend Doris Wright.

Preceded in death by her parents, one son, Richard D. Mills; one daughter: Catherine F. Mills.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). A service will be held at 7 p.m..Private cremation will follow.

Annie was lifetime resident of the area.  Her hobbies included sewing and crafting and she loved the time spent with family. She enjoyed watching sports and was a faithful fan of the Chicago White Sox and Bears. Annie loved being around people and served many as a waitress at the Hessville Restaurant. Annie was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.
