Hattie May Hook age 81 of Highland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday February 2,2011. She is survived by her Daughter Sandra (Franklin) Bewley, and Son Rick Hook. Three Grandchildren David, Michael and Kristina Bewley. Two Great Grandchildren Azalya and Giovannie Bewley. Brother In Law Bob Franz and several Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 33 years William Hook.Parents Michael and Eva Mauck. One Brother Robert Mauck and One Sister Essie Franz. Funeral service will be held on Monday February 7,2011 at 10.00 am at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Jose Burgos Officiating. Entombment will follow directly at Graceland Cemetery Mausouleum, Valparaiso, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home on Sunday February 6, 2011 from 2pm til 7pm.
Hattie was born and raised in the Calumet Region, She was a member of Old Fashion Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed attending worship services with her family. Hattie was an avid bowler and former member of the Holy Roller's bowling league.
