Hazel M. Collins, age 88, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

She is survived by her four children: David (Paula) Collins, Linda (Randall) Freeman, Judy (Thomas) Schwab and Marilyn (Terry) Day; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Thomas Collins; son, Timothy Collins; parents, William and Esther Tryon.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Bocken Funeral Home from 4 pm. until 8 p.m.                             Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Rev. Mike Wetherald officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond.

Hazel was raised in Hammond and attended Hammond High School and graduated from Gods Bible School in Cincinnati. She faithfully attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church of Griffith. Hazel loved to read and spend time with her family. She was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers memorials to Pilgrim Holiness Church of Griffith would be appreciated.
