Helen Hoffrogge, age 80, of Munster, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, February 27th 2019. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Ralph L. Hoffrogge; Parents, Orval and Lillian Bowker;  siblings: Gene, Margaret, Pat, Laura, Ruth and JoAnn.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville), with Pastor Dan Donaldson officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.                                                      Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Friday, March 1 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Helen was a lifetime resident of the Region. She attended and graduated from Hammond High School. Helen was a long time member of Suncrest Christian Church in St. John and formerly attended Southside Christian Church in Munster. Helen was retired from Illinois Bell as a telephone operator.
