Helena Nuttall, age 96, of Hammond, entered into the presence of her Lord and savior on Monday, April 28, 2025.

She is survived by her three children: Steve Nuttall, Paul Nuttall and Caroline Nuttall; grandchildren: Ally (Wilson) Turner, Matthew Nuttall, twins, Sarah and Kaylyn Nuttall; one great-grandchild, Logan Turner; one sister, Frieda (Tony) Dzierman; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Helena was preceded in death by her husband, William Nuttall; parents: Stefan and Jodwiga Kornobis; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Saturday, May 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Father Ronald Zgunda officiating, burial to follow at St. John – St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond.

Busia was a beloved long-time resident of the region, having made it her home since 1964. She was a devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church, where her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. In her free time, she loved to ride her bike, garden and cooking.
