Jacqueline 'Jackie' R. Farmer (Kujawa), 75, from Hammond Indiana passed away on Monday August 25, 2025.

Jackie is survived by her three daughters, Barb (Tim) Bahorich, Angie (Ray) Marsh, and Christie (Craig) Hrinda. Her grandchildren Samantha Farmer, Breanna (Mitch) Malone, Abigail Bahorich, Alyssa Bahorich, Amanda Marsh, Joshua Marsh, Mark Hrinda, and Julian Hrinda. Her great grandchildren Eleanor Malone, Emmett Malone, and Rhea Lockridge. Her siblings Michael (Barb) Kujawa and Midge Kujawa.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, John and Jean Kujawa, her husband Steven Farmer, her sister Melanie Avenatti, and granddaughter Meagan Bahorich.

Jackie was a proud graduate of Gavit High School. She briefly worked with the School City of Hammond as a special education assistant before retiring early to focus on her family and become a homemaker. Jackie was an animal lover, she always had pets at home. She enjoyed being with her family, reading books, online shopping, watching her tv shows, and snacking on her favorite snacks.  She loved watching her Chicago Cubs play.

Jackie overcame many obstacles in her life, however her most celebrated was beating cancer and becoming a cancer survivor. She will be missed greatly.
