Jaime Gutierrez, age 36, of Hammond went home to heaven on Saturday, November 20, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his Fiancée Nicole Wilkerson and her daughters Corrin, Kyla and Kaitlin. His Daughter: Brianna Gutierrez. Loving parents David and Rachel (Nee Trevino)
Three brothers David Jr. (Nicole), Frank (Kris) and Nathan (Tami) Gutierrez.
Nephews Christopher, Frankie Jr., Ricky, David III,Nathan Jr., and Kayden. Niece Alexa.
Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his Grandparents Simon Sr. and Rita Trevino and Eusebio and Tomasita Gutierrez.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 10.30am from the Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue , Hammond (Hessville) to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Father Charles Mosley Celebrant. Private cremation to follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, November 22, 2010 from 4pm-8pm. at Bocken Funeral Home.
Jaime was a lifetime resident of Hammond having attended Our lady Of Perpetual Help Grade School and Graduated from Morton High School in 1991.While at Morton Jaime played Baseball, Basketball and Football .He was an avid bowler and golfer and was a member of USBC Bowling Association and Friday Night Mike Hipp Memorial Bowling League. Jaime enjoyed all sports and was a fan of the Sox, Bears and Bulls. He was also a very talented Carpenter, Painter, Mechanic and Electrician, he was employed at Valparaiso Construction for ten years. Jaime was a man of great faith in God, a wonderful son and loving father and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
