James E. Edington, age 58, of Hammond entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 27, 2013.
He is survived by his loving fiancée, Joyce Ann Wolak;
1 son, James Anthony (Kelly) Edington of Merrillville;
grandchildren, Michael and Aleecia; numerous adopted children and grandchildren and his faithful friend, Czar.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Jean Edington and brother, David Lester Edington.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Father Steve Kosinski officiating. Cremation preceded the services.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Bocken Funeral Home from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Jim has been a lifetime resident of Hammond and a graduate of Morton High School, class of 1972. He was a member of the Hessville Eagles and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Jim was a devoted family man who will be dearly missed.
