Jason Michael Rogers, age 34 of Elkhorn, WI, formerly of Hessville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 2, 2011.
He is survived by his fiancée, Stephanie Antrim;
3 children: Cheyenne Antrim, Kaylee and Jason Michael Rogers, Jr.;
parents, Erwin and Shirley Rogers; maternal grandmother,
Madeline Farmer; 3 brothers: Greg, Brian and Nicholas (Nicole) Rogers; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his grandparents: Jordon Farmer, Jim and Katherine Rogers.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Joe Best officiating. Private cremation will follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, Nov. 6th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home.
Jason was born on April 22, 1977 and was raised in the Hessville section of Hammond. He was a 1995 graduate of Morton High School. He worked as a welder for Tank Craft Co. in Darien, WI. Jason enjoyed playing "chief" for his family and friends and was lovingly called "Smurff". He loved sports and coached his daughters little league teams. He was an avid NY Jets and Mets fan. Jason will always be remembered for his devotion to his family. Memorials may be made in his memory to the family.
