Jeffery Allen Ray, age 42, of Hammond, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 28, 2019.

He is survived by his mother; Sharyn Ray; three siblings: Tracy Szczudlak, Scott Bruce, Amy (Jim) Harris; three children; Josh Ray, Makenzee Ray and Guiles Blondeel; niece and nephews: Ashley (Eli) Lewandowski, Billy Szczudlak, Tyler Harris and Kylie Bruce; great nephews: Murphy and Arlo Lewandowski.   Preceded in death by his father Kermit C. Ray; daughter, twin, Makenna Ray and his grandparents.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for a memorial visitation to celebrate Jeff's life, on Tuesday August 6, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Ave., Hammond (Hessville).

Jeff was born and raised in Hammond Indiana. He attended Morton High School. He worked at Sandling Industrial Services INC and was a member Union Local #2003.  In his youth he enjoyed playing football, Baseball and Soccer. He also loved to work on cars and was a wheeler and dealer in estate liquidations and auctions. Jeff was a loving father, son, brother and friend.
