Jennifer Jean Creasbaum

(nee Cunningham)

Schererville, IN

August 15, 1951 – July 29, 2026

Jennifer J. Creasbaum, age 74, of Schererville was peacefully called home by her Lord and Savior on Wednesday July 29, 2026.

She is survived by her loving children: Andrea Creasbaum, Michael (Marie) Creasbaum, Kristina (Bryan) Novak-Doranski and Eric Creasbaum; cherished grandchildren: Ryan Novak , Ainsley and Paige Doranski; loving brother; Ed Cunningham of Schererville; numerous nieces, nephews and friends including lifelong friends Gloria Harkins and Jean Abbott.

She is preceded in death by her; parents, Ernie and Crystle Cunningham; and sister, Barbara Maroney, and sister in-law Judy Cunningham.

Visitation and funeral service will be held directly at Highland First Church of the Nazarene, 9330 Kennedy Avenue, Highland, Indiana 46322. Friends may meet with the family at church on Sunday August 2, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Nathan Bucholz officiating, private burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond.

Jenny was born and raised in Hammond; she attended Munster High School and graduated in the class of 1969. She was retired from Community Hospital where she was a clerk in the transcription department. Jenny enjoyed making ceramics, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She attended Terrace Park Church of God and more recently Highland First Church of the Nazarene. Jenny will be forever remembered as a generous and giving person who was always willing to go the extra mile to help those in need and she made a great meat loaf. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
