Jeri Lynne Martin, 52, of Hammond, IN entered Heaven October 1, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband Donnie Hugh Martin, Children: Matthan Martin (Brooke); Jamie Crosier (Stanley); Daniel Poulin (Brittany); Donald Martin Jr. (Heather) and Dana Bock (Shawn) Mother: Merrilynne Prohl Sisters: Cissy Fleck (Jim); Joni Nearhood (Herbert Sr.) Grandchildren: Christian Smith, Ivy Rose Smith, Ronin Crosier, Willow Crosier, Gavin Martin, Cayden Martin, Delaney Faye Martin; Eli Poulin, Silas Poulin, Erinn Martin, Andrew Martin, Emily, Dakota and Connor Bock. She is proceeded in death by her brother Mark Prohl. Jeri was an energetic woman with a playful sense of humor. She truly enjoyed nature and was an avid reader. Her children remember her as a witty and charming mother who loved to sing and often flashed her brilliant smile. She can best be remembered for her compassion and kindness towards animals. But mostly as a unique soul with whom you'd be blessed to cross paths. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends she has made along her journey through life. Private services are to be held with family.
