Jerline Green, age 83, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 18, 2013.
She is survived by her six children; Diane (Dave) Chumbley, Rob Green, Michael (Peggy) Green, Brian (Tina) Green, Kim Weis and Dan (Terri) Green.
Fourteen Grandchildren, several great grandchildren
and a host of dear friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband William Green; daughter Patricia Green, parents, Homer and Dollie Hendon, one sister, and one brother.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 12:00 p.m., noon from Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Rev. Craig Forwalter officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Memory Lane Cemetery in Dolton, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Bocken Funeral Home, from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 12:00 p.m. Noon.
Jerline was a long time resident of the region.  She was employed at Aleris, Aluminum processing for over 18 years. Jerline enjoyed knitting, crocheting and all types of crafts. She kept busy working even up to the beginning of this year. Jerline loved her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
