Jerry Dean Watson III

Jerry Watson III, age 32, of Hammond, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. He is survived by his loving parents, Jerry Jr. and Shelly Watson; his siblings: Joey and Anna Ellman and Jalynn and Jace Watson who called him "BoBo"; grandparents: Jerry (Janet) Watson Sr., Annette Tomich; his significant other Jasmine Wolfe (Emma & Suzie); aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mom, Lisa Ellman and grandfather, Marko Tomich.

Jerry was born in Chicago but grew up in and was a longtime resident of Hammond. He was a 2011 graduate of Morton Senior High School. While at Morton he excelled at football and was recognized as an outstanding player. He worked as a supervisor for PolyJohn Enterprises for 6 years before going to his current employment at Gerresheimer Glass as a machine repair/feederman. He was big fan of the Chicago White Sox, loved fast cars, riding motorcycles and playing his Xbox.  Jerry will be missed by all who knew him.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 p.m., private cremation will follow.
