Jerry Williams, age 63, of Hammond passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Tina Marie Williams (nee Frankovich); three children who will miss him dearly: Terresa (Fred) Chalifoux, Leann (Mark) McKim and Jerry (Amanda) Williams; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers: Jack, Jeff, and Joe Williams; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Jerry was born on September 20, 1959 to the late Jack Williams and late Ruth Williams Altgilbers also preceded in death by two brothers: John and Jim Williams and his little sister, Joy Soy (nee Williams).

Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). A service to celebrate Jerry's life will take place at 4:30 p.m. Private cremation will follow.

Jerry was a long-time resident of Hammond; he enjoyed watching football and was a fan of the Indianapolis Colt's. Jerry loved going camping and being around family and friends. He will be remembered for his saying "Your only as rich as the family you have". Jerry was a friend to all and always willing to help others.
