John Joseph Ferrarini Jr, age 63 of Hammond, peacefully entered into eternal life on Wednesday July 3, 2013 after a long illness.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Cheryl Ann Ferrarini (Nee Woodhall);
4 children Melissa, Sarah, Paul and Tony Ferrarini. 4 step children Dominic Ferrarini Jr. Anthony (Kelly) Ferrarini, Jennifer (Steven) Moreno and Angela Ferrarini.                  9 grandchildren;
1 brother, Dominic Ferrarini Sr., step mother Aileen Ferrarini (Nee Duke) and a host of dear friends.
Preceded in death by his first wife Laurie Ferrarini (Nee Vroegindewey) parents, John Joseph Sr and  Ida Mae (Nee Buell) Ferrarini. and step father  Jim Gelsosomo.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Jeff Beckett officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday July 8,2013 at Bocken Funeral Home from 9am until the time of the service.
Papa as he was affectionately known, has lived in the region since 1987. He enjoyed the martial arts and cutting gemstones. He loved all kinds of music and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
