Johnathan R. Moran, age 45, of Hammond, passed away suddenly on Friday October 1, 2021.

He is survived by one son, Aiden Moran; two brothers: Dan and James (Angela) Moran; two nieces: Indigo and Autumn Moran; one nephew, Ethan Moran; one great niece, Willow Thacker-Moran; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence (Brenda Lou) Moran.

John was raised in Hammond. He was a graduate of Morton senior high school, class of 1994. He worked as a contractor and could build just about anything. John loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and he was a talented skateboarder. He was a loving father, brother, and a true friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial gathering to celebrate John's life on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).
