Jon Richard Andersen, "Andy" age 71, of Rensselear, formerly of Hammond, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 15th, 2016.

Jon is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Naomi Andersen; two children: Tony L. Andersen, Leticia D. Andersen; seven stepchildren: Terry Glines, Randy Glines, Robert Glines, Russ Glines, David Glines, Barbra Rhodes and Dana Fartini, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister: Margaret Moore. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Genevieve Andersen.

A memorial service for Jon Richard Andersen  "Andy" will be held at a later date.

Jon who was known as Andy to most everyone, was born and raised in Hammond. He loved his dogs, going fishing and spending time outdoors. But most of all he loved to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He proudly severed our country in the Air Force during the Vietnam era.
