Josephine Ziherl Cvitkovich, age 95, formerly of Hammond, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

She is survived by her children: Veronica (Jeff) Nagel, Bart (Alita) Ziherl, Edward (Olga) Ziherl, Patti (Rich) Miller, Geri (Terry) Campbell and Don (Pam) Cvitkovich; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Jane Damjanovich and nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her loving husbands Jerry Ziherl and John Cvitkovich; parents, Nicholas and Katherine Hekele; sister, Nellie (Hans) Armbrust and brother in-law, Luka Damjanovich.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 7132 Arizona Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Charles Mosley celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond.

Josephine was a long time resident of the Calumet area. She was a longtime faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union.
