Joyce Maxine Lascik, age 83 of Hammond passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2010.
She is survived by one Daughter: Sharon Kutsenda
2 Sons: Daniel Goers and David Goers
12 Grandchildren: Mike (Lissa) Decker, Kelly and Steve (fiancé; Kristal) Decker, Daniel, Evan, Jeff and Brittany Goers, Kristina (Nick) Roszak, Joey Goers, Carl Lindberg, Dawn (James) Eubbert and Jennifer Nieves.
10 Great Grandchildren
Preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Walter Lascik, son; Richard Scott Goers, parents; Ray and Laura Matheny and 2 sisters; Rae Dean and Janice Pepper.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 6pm at the Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue , Hammond (Hessville). Private cremation will follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday from 4pm until the time of Service at 6pm.
Joyce was born on Dec. 22, 1926 in Detroit, MI and for the past 30 years made her home in Luling, LA. She moved to Merrillville in 2009 to be near her family.
Joyce was a loving mother a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association at www.alz.org
