Joyce Lamberson, age 90, of Hammond, entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 21, 2017.

She is survived by her four children: Barbara (John) Begley, Shirley Lamberson, David Lamberson and Deborah (Nick) Perez; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 yeas, Eunie Lamberson; parents, Garland and Katherine Thompson and two sisters: Zelfa Tidwell and Kathryn Eich.

Joyce was born and raised in Magness, Arkansas and has lived in Hammond for over 60 years. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She loved to cheer for the Chicago Cubbies. Joyce dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a wonderful mother, and a devoted grandmother and great grandmother.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at Bocken Funeral Home on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10 a.m until 11 a.m..
