Juana Garcia, age 96, of Hammond, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

Survived by her children: Jose (Nora) Garcia Jr., Jesus "Chuy" (Vicky) Garcia, Estella Franciski, George (Odessa) Garcia, Guadalupe (Sylvia) Garcia, Ana (Erasmo) Miranda, Juanita (Pete) Sanchez and David (Irma) Garcia; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jose S. Garcia; son in law Eugene Franciski; parents: Jose (Ascension) Guillermo

Funeral Services will be held DIRECTLY at the Northgate Church 2820-165th Street, Hammond IN 46323 with visitation on Monday April 2, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. with Pastor Erasmo Miranda, officiating. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. followed by burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 20953 West Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421 at 12:45 p.m.

Juana was a life long resident of the Hammond area. She was faithful servant and follower of Jesus. Juana was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
