Juanita White

(nee Neal)

March 29, 1919 – June 23, 2021

Juanita White, age 102,  of Hammond passed into the gates of Heaven peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Juanita is survived by two children: Kenneth White and Janet McGill; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert White in January of 2013; parents, Artie and Martha Neal; two brothers and two sisters.

Juanita has lived in Hessville since 1942. She was a member of Hessville Baptist Church for well over fifty years. Juanita has served as a Sunday schoolteacher and deaconess in the church during her younger years. She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. White had requested that there be no funeral service or visitation. A graveside burial will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. DIRECTLY at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8178 Cline Avenue, Schererville, IN.
