Anna Katherine Eyer (Nee Pedigo), age 101, of Sellersburg, IN, passed away peacefully in Lincolnshire Healthcare Center in Merrillville on Saturday, September 2, 2017,
Katherine is survived by her son: Donald (Connie) Eyer; seven grandchildren: Joseph (Sarah) Eyer, Matthew (Amber) Eyer, Gina (Anthony) Latta, Paul (Tina) Eyer, DaLonna (Chris) Bush, Anthony (Erica) Eyer, Jerry (Rachael) Eyer; twenty one great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; two brothers: Jack (Vera) Pedigo, Kenneth (Cheryl) Pedigo, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Eyer; son and daughter in-law: Paul (LaDonna) Eyer parents: Clarence and Pricilla Pedigo; five sisters; four brothers and two step sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9,2017 at 12:00 p.m. Directly at Sojourn City Church, 100 Northside Drive, Midway, Kentucky with Dr. J.P. Vick officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Midway, Kentucky. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Sojourn City Church on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Katherine was born and raised in East Burnstadt, Kentucky. She served alongside her husband Pastor Raymond Eyer for over 38 years at the Midway Assembly of God Church. Katherine was responsible for forming the first women's ministries for the Assembly of God in the state of Kentucky. Katherine was a loving mother,grandmother, great and great great grandmother, sister and aunt who enjoyed being with her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
