Kevin M. Boggess, age 67, of Hammond entered into the presence of the Lord on Monday, January 24, 2022.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Elizabeth Boggess (nee Grunwald); two children: Nathaniel Boggess and Amelia Boggess (fiancé Jared Hessling); two grandchildren: Aliyah and Israel Boggess and their mother Katherine Collins; two nephews: Daniel and Robert Duran; and a brother-in-law, Michael Grunwald.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta Jaynes; father, Marvin Boggess, and stepfather, Estil Jaynes.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Bocken Funeral Home (7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323) from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Funeral service, officiated by Pastor Dan Hendon, will follow at 12 p.m. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond.

Kevin was a lifetime resident of the region where he graduated from Hammond Tech. He was a longtime faithful member of Riverside Community Church of Hammond. He loved helping others and used his electrical and carpentry skills to do so. He deeply enjoyed thought-provoking conversations, delicious food, and good music. Kevin loved spending time with his family, and his beloved dog, Ava.
