Kimberly Sue Midkiff, age 51, of Merrillville, IN, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014. She is survived by her beloved husband of 6 years, Paul Mitchell; two children: Steven (Jennifer) Builta Sr. and Matthew (Skyler) Richardson; three grandchildren, Harmony Builta, Steven "Boom" Builta II and Thomas Lewandowski; three siblings: Sandra Willardo, Joyce Wells and Roger (Holly) Midkiff and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl Roger and Mary Midkiff and brother Michael Midkiff.
Friends are invited to meet with the family to celebrate Kima's life on Tuesday May 13,2014 at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 4pm -8pm. Private cremation will follow.
Kima was born and grew up in Hammond, IN. She enjoyed listening to her classic rock music, shopping with her grandchildren, flea marketing and basking in the sun.
