Kristie Lynn McKinney (Nee Hunt) Hammond, IN Kristie Lynn McKinney, age 49, passed onto eternal rest suddenly on Saturday, April 25, 2020. She is survived by her four children: Steven Michael, Thomas James, Justin Matthew and Katelyn Michelle McKinney; mother, Sharon Hunt; brother: James B. (Erin) Hunt; best friend and sister-in-law, Melissa Mclaughlin as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Kristie was preceded in death by her father James T. Hunt; grandparents: William and Helen Kilburg, Charlie and Margie Hunt. Private cremation services were held with a memorial service to be scheduled at a future date. Kristie was born and raised in Illinois and has been a resident of the Northwest Indiana area for the past 12 years or more. She had many hobbies and loved going out. Some of her favorites were crafting, fishing, and of course playing bingo. But by far her life revolved around doing things with her family.
