Lana Bruce age 60 of Hebron, formerly of Hammond passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 8, 2010 with her loving husband at her side.

Preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth and Beulah Mitchell.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 13 2010 at 9:30 AM at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, April 12th at Bocken Funeral Home, from 4 until 8 p.m.
Lana was a longtime Hammond resident and a 1967 graduate of Gavit High School. She was formerly a member of Woodmar Baptist Church and a current member of The First Baptist Church of Roselawn. Lana has worked for many fund raising events as manager for the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. She loved to fish, enjoyed sewing and was very talented at making crafts for her family and many dear friends. Lana was a loving wife and mother and devoted grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
