Larry Robert Dargewich, age 74, of Hammond passed away suddenly on Monday, October 30, 2023.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Ann Dargewich (Patterson); two sons: Robert Dargewich and Scott (Jessica) Dargewich; grandchildren: Drew and Dana Dargewich; great grandchild, Karlie Grace Dargewich; brother, Dennis L. (Joyce) Dargewich; brothers in-law: Gordon Patterson, Tony (Denise) Patterson and Dwayne (Mary) Patterson; sisters in-law: Norma (Carly) Lee and Melissa (Rick) Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his four footed companions Lucky and late Jasper.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Pauline Dargewich.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Private cremation to follow.

Larry was a long-time resident of Hammond; he was a graduate of Griffith High School class of 1969. Larry was a retired steel worker from Inland/Arcelor Mittal Steel Company and a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 1011. He enjoyed camping, nature, playing Call of Duty and watching the Bears games. He simply loved fishing, and spending time with the love of his life Patricia. Larry will be missed by many.
