Larry Brown was welcomed into the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the age of 79.            Larry is survived by his wife Nikki R. Brown; children: Sylvia M. Brown, Jeffery (Esther) Brown, Cathy (Mike) Jones, and Larry Evans; 3 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Patty Royer; brother, Paul Brown; cherished best friend, Wayne (Deanne) Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews friends and his faithful Puggle, Jackie J. Brown.                                                                           Preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Catherine Brown; first wife, Mary Brown, son, Mark Anthony Brown, sister, Melva Brown.             Larry was born and raised in Tell City and lived in Evansville until seven years ago when he moved to Hammond. He was retired from the lumber industry as a Saw Mill manager. He was a member of New Life Church in Hammond. Larry was an avid Bears fan and cheered on the Chicago Cubs. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed.                           A memorial to celebrate Larry's life will be held on Friday August 2, 2019 at Georgetown Club House 3800 Georgetown Court, Hammond IN 46323. Gathering from 10:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Jeffery Brown and Pastor Larry Evans officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
