Larry P. Middleton, age 66, of Hobart, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 15, 2011 at his residence. He is survived by his loving wife of 7 years Julie M. Middleton (Nee Guernsey) and Children; Crystal(Tom)Mills,Betsy(Scott)Reel,Jessica(Adam)Middleton,Brigette(Allen)Middleton,Mary (Connie)Pope,Larry(Amanda)Middleton,Ryan(Jillian)Pope and his 3 ^rd son "Cagney". Four grandchildren; Ashley Mills, Joseph Jackson , Josh Butts and Leighton Butts. Sister Nancy Malavies, father in law Ron (Betty) Guernsey, sister in law Donna Middleton, brother in law Marcus Dobrowski, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by two brothers Jack and Jim Middleton and one sister Mary Dobrowski. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 1.00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue , Hammond (Hessville). Burial will follow with military honors at St. John Cemetery in Hammond. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 2pm until 8pm. Larry was born in Knoxville, TN and was a long time resident of the Northwest Indiana region .  He was a proud U.S. Army veteran having served two tours of duty in Vietnam .  Larry was retired from the Ford Motor Company assembly Plant in Chicago . He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his Harley; Painting with oil's and was a huge Chicago Bears fan . Larry was a wonderful Husband, Dad and Grandfather and will be dearly missed.
