Larry Allen Yuknovis, age 58, of Hammond passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin (nee, Mann) Yuknovis;
1 son, Jason (Penny) Mann of Valparaiso;
2 daughters: Angela (fiancée, Shawn) Yuknovis of Phoenix, AZ and Sara (fiancée, David) Schriver of Hammond;
6 grandchildren;
3 brothers: Walter Michael "Mike" Yuknovis of Hammond,
James (Mary) Harrington of Texas and
Jeffrey Harrington of IN;
1 sister: Linda Yuknovis of Beverly Shores, IN;
Father, Arthur Harrington of IN;
many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Faye Harrington and one grandson, Paul Allen Yuknovis.
Larry was born on November 1, 1953 in East Chicago and was raised in Hammond. He was a 1972 graduate of Hammond Tech High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict in Korea. Larry worked for Carolina Freight Co. as a dockworker and forklift driver. He loved fishing and rock and roll music, but his passion in life was his family. Larry loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
As per his wishes there will be no services.
