Laura Shropshire, age 77, of Hammond entered into the gates of heaven on Monday, January 17, 2022

She is survived by her husband of 59 years George Shropshire; Children: Timothy G. Shropshire, Christopher (Ila) Shropshire, Sherri Nealis; Grandchildren: Robert and Cole Shropshire, Jacob and Kegan Shropshire, Alex Burroughs, and Allyscia Dietz; Great-Grandchildren: Lucas Fuson and Myles Shropshire

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Loretta Wyant; 3 Sisters and 2 Brothers

Friends and family are invited for a time of visitation on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home. 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323

Laura was a lifetime resident of the Region. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her life. She was loved by all and will be missed by many.
