Leone L. Krcelich, age 82, of Granger, IN, formerly of Schererville, IN and Lynwood, IL, was ushered into the arms of God on Sunday, April 21, 2013.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Waldemar "Wally" "Junior" Krcelich;
6 Children: Lorraine "Tilly" (Dr. Steven) Fettke,
Nicholas (Sherry) Krcelich,
Paula (James) LaGrone,
Steven (Jodi) Krcelich,
James Krcelich,
Linda (James) Conway;
17 grandchildren;
2 great grandchildren;
1 brother, Wayne Scott;
1 sister, Shirley (late, Paul) Adzia and 2 half-sisters;
many nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pauline Scott; 2 sisters, Paula Maravich and Eleanor Harvey.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013                          at 10:00 a.m. directly at Life Point Church, 7350 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Dr. Steven M. Fettke and Pastor Orlando Solar officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, April 24th at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville)  from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will also be a time of viewing at the church Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m.
Leone was a native of Hammond (Hessville) and a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area before moving to Granger in 2011. She retired from Sears after working for many years in retail sales. Leone was a former member of Calvary Community Church of Munster and Hessville Assembly of God Church of Hammond. Leone loved to read her Bible and was a dedicated Christian who served her Lord and others faithfully. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.
