Leticia Torres Lopez, age 84, of Hammond entered into eternal life on Friday, March 26, 2021.

She is survived by her children: Jose C. (Carmen) Ojeda and Luis (Carmen) Caceres; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family both here and in Puerto Rico.

Preceded in death by her parents, Christino Torres and Justina Colon Lopez.

Friends and family are invited for visitation on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. DIRECTLY at Iglesia Biblica Bautista 1138-173rd Street, Hammond, IN 46324. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Hebert Rodriguez, officiating. Private cremation will follow.

Leticia was born and raised in Humacao, Puerto Rico, she was both a teacher and social worker for the public schools in Puerto Rico. Leticia retired and then moved of Northwest Indiana to be near her son. She loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren were her world. She was a faithful and devoted Christian and member of Iglesia Biblica Bautista and will be missed by all who knew her.
