Lillian B. Valentino, age 93, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2010.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law,

Reginald and Susan Valentino of Chicago, IL

Preceded in death by her husband of 25 years; Mark Anthony Valentino, longtime friend and partner; Leonard Konsoeur and her parents; Paul and Katherine Binder

Funeral Services were private and held at Bocken Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Saatkamp officiating. Internment at Concordia Cemetery in Hammond.

Lillian was born on June 12, 1917 in East Chicago. Widowed at age 48, she worked in retail sales for many years at a drapery store. Lillian met her friend and longtime partner, Leonard at a dance. They both loved ballroom dancing and traveling. Lillian has been known for her baking skills and loved to bake pastries. She also tended a vegetable garden that she planted in her large yard at her home in Hammond.
