Linda Louise Taillon (nee Glans)

Linda L. Taillon, 69, of Hammond, IN passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.  She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Jim Taillon; her two sons Jimmy Taillon and Philip (Kellie) Taillon; her two loving daughters, Christine (Seiji) Daito and Carolyn (Bryan) Haack; her five grandchildren Nate and Carter Taillon, Sadie, Elise and Josie Haack; brother Randy (Renee) Glans; sister Carolyn (Don) Justak; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.  She was proceeded in death by her parents Buhler Glans and Thelma (nee Schultz) Zagrocki.

Linda was born in Whiting, IN on December 7, 1946.  She worked for many years at St. Margaret Mercy Hospital in Hammond, IN and was a dedicated member of the St. Catherine of Siena family.  The family would like to thank Harbor Light Hospice for the wonderful care Linda received.  A special thanks to Barbara Rose and the other hospice caregivers for their loving care of Linda.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 9:30 AM from Bocken Funeral Home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. John Bosco of Hammond, 7113 Columbia Avenue, Hammond, IN 46324 with Father Rick Orlinski officiating.  Visitation for Linda will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 3pm until 8pm at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323.  For more information, please call (219) 844-1600.
